For the Xella Group, one of Europe's leading building materials companies, we modernized their existing online marketplace. The client's goal was to create a more transparent, efficient webshop where their partners can easily order the necessary building materials. They didn't find the previous system efficient and transparent enough, so they were looking for an expert development team for modernization.
We made the necessary modifications in collaboration with the previous development team. For successful implementation, we first took over the knowledge base related to the frontend and SAP, then using new technologies (Vaadin frontend, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL), we developed the user-friendly interface and optimized backend system. During development, we paid special attention to understanding and efficiently implementing SAP processes related to orders.
As a result of the development, the order submission process became more transparent, the range of exportable data related to orders expanded, and the application was also enhanced with a simplified order submission option. Thanks to the client's satisfaction, future developments will also be carried out by the R-Szoft team, ensuring long-term cooperation.
